Ben White has been backed to get better and better as the defender is set to complete his transfer to Arsenal this week.
The 23-year-old is on the verge of joining the Gunners from Brighton in a £50million deal.
White will imminently complete his £50m move to Arsenal
He is set to complete a medical to seal his move after returning from holiday following his involvement in Euro 2020 with England.
The defender's progression to one of the top rated centre-backs in the Premier League has been quite remarkable.
After joining Brighton's academy as a 16-year-old, he had loan spells in League Two, League One and the Championship.
It was the promotion-winning campaign with Leeds United that caught everyone's attention, and the Whites were desperate to sign him permanently last summer.
White played in every match of Leeds 2019/20 campaign in the Championship
Brighton held onto him, but now a big move to Arsenal awaits.
His Seagulls teammate Adam Webster tipped him to carry on his current trajectory, and admits he's unsurprised one of the Premier League's big guns has now come calling.
He told talkSPORT: "He's got so much ability and so much potential. He's still only 23, so he's still got a lot of years ahead of him.
"To do what he's done, every year he's kicked on and progressed, from League One to Championship and then last year in the Premier League and playing for England.
"He takes it all in his stride and nothing fazes him. It doesn't surprise me."
Arsenal had two bids turned down by Brighton before agreeing a fee
Webster himself was signed in a £22m deal and drew from his own experiences in giving White advice on how to handle having a big price tag on his head.
He added: "For me, I didn't ever think too much about the price tag. I think it is more other people trying to put pressure on you rather than you putting pressure on yourself.
"I just tried to go out and enjoy my football as quickly as I could and I had to try and prove myself that I could play in the Premier League.
"I've done that now and price tags - I don't decide how much money I go for. It's all about what's in my control and you have to put that in the back of your mind and let the football do the talking."
